Every year, Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members must update their information to make sure they still qualify for health benefits. Not everyone will renew at the same time. When it is time to renew your benefits, OHP will send you a letter telling you how to renew.
To keep your benefits, you must provide updated information to the Oregon Health Authority. If you do not respond, you will get a letter saying that your OHP benefits are ending.
Responding right away will help make sure that your renewal is processed as soon as possible.
If you need more information about how to reapply for OHP, please visit www.OHP.oregon.gov.
Individuals and families enrolled in a private health insurance plan through HealthCare.gov must renew their coverage during the Open Enrollment period. The Open Enrollment period for 2015 coverage is over. The 2016 Open Enrollment Period for HealthCare.gov will start on November 1, 2015 and run through January 31, 2016.
In some cases you may still be able to get coverage for 2015, including if you lost other health coverage or had another “life change”. To learn more about life changes, visit HealthCare.gov.
