Welcome to the Oregon Eligibility (ONE) system. It can help you find out what application is best for you and your family in order to apply for health coverage. Depending on your family size and income, this could mean creating an account and filling out an application right here, or heading over to HealthCare.gov (the federal health insurance marketplace) to apply.
To get started, answer the “pre-screening” questions on the homepage. This will let you know if it’s better to apply here or at HealthCare.gov.
Here you can apply for the Oregon Health Plan (OHP). OHP is Oregon’s Medicaid program that offers free or low-cost health coverage for individuals and families who qualify. You can apply for OHP at any time. There is no “open enrollment” period for OHP.
If you don’t qualify for OHP, we’ll securely send your application information to HealthCare.gov. At HealthCare.gov, you can shop and enroll in a private health insurance plan. You may also qualify for tax credits to help pay for your private health insurance plan.
The information you provide about household size and income (along with other factors) will be used to figure out if your household qualifies for OHP. If you do not qualify for OHP, we will securely send your application to HealthCare.gov, where you can shop and enroll in a private health insurance plan. You may also qualify for tax credits to help pay for your private health insurance plan.
Below is a sample income chart showing how you might qualify based on household size and monthly income. Please know that the income limits listed below for each household size are only estimates.
